Hey guys! I have a few questions regarding render machines. Our 2 man company is looking to build a render PC for octane.
My question is:
Will we both be able to render with the external machine at same time, splitting the power or can only one person access the render power at the same time?
Tom Glimpse pointed out that it might be possible to start 2 instances of octane, each one with some GPUs active that are inactive in the other, then connect one to each Master.
Unfortunately I have no way of trying this myself until we have the new machine.
Thanks in advance for any input!
PS: We are planning to use it in conjunction with the C4D plugin, but I figured it would be relevant to others as well, hence I posted it here in general discussion.
