question about licence ,render farm

Hi

I have to render a lot of animation and i decided to use garagefarm solution:
The rent you a workstation and you have to install there by remote your lightwave and your octane plugin as they can't rent licence...

Just a question, Is octane 3 the same like 2, i mean i can disable my licence on my computer and activate them somewher else?

I remember to have read that something has changed recently...

Hi,

If you have your license enabled in online mode (the default mode) you don't need to make anything. The license can be activated anywhere with internet access, but of course only in one site at the same time, so if you are using your license at garagefarm, you can't use it on your computer.

thats what i supposed, but you are referring to lw plugin correct? Then I think I have to disable the octane main software from my pc using the user page in OTOY website.

Nope, the plugin works like Standalone. If the license is enabled in online mode, as soon as close LightWave the license is available to be used on another computer. You don't need to disable it in your account page.
