Hi,

I need help here. I just decided to start using Octane Render again and lightwave after a year ago, then I installed everything but when I enable OctaneRender and open the IPR, it gets stuck in the "IPR info: UPDATING SCENE IN GPUs...." and nothing happens.

Someone have an idea of what could it be?

My GPU is a GTX 1070.

Octane v 2.25 don't work with Pascal GPUs so any GPU form 10x0 series isn't supported, you need octane 3.x for that.

Yes, the problem can be related to your GPUs or other issues. Pascal GPUs are not supported by the old 2.25 plugin currently. What are your system specs?

Thanks,

My system specs are:

intel i7-4790
GTX 1070
16GB RAM

I thought so, because just when i changed the card i noticed that happened. =(

so i will have to buy 3.0

Thanks for the replies.

Don't look at it as having to buy 3. You'll love the new goodies.
