I rendered a scene last night with no problem. I made a slight adjustment (a scaling adjustment to one object which is cloned) -- and now the render fails on the first frame. I see the out-of-memory errors but I also want to know what the repeated error "Tried to access pin via an invalid ID P_DIFFUSE (30)...etc" is about. OctaneRender 3.03.3 (have not updated because this version has been working perfectly for me until now. This is on a MacPro 5,1 with a GTX780 and GTX780ti) Here is the Log:

Please check render statistics to solve the problem.
Check geometry subdivisons.
Picture viewer uses 'Render' subdivisions. But Live Viewer uses 'Editor' subdivision values.
Try to decrease 'render/editor' subdivison values.

I had similar error even though I had enough gpu memory (was using 5gb out of 8gb) problem was I was out of ram so I have to upgrade from 8 to 16 on a slave. Also scattering high poly mesh with
Scatterprogram can cause that.

"Tried to access pin via an invalid ID P_DIFFUSE" means wrong pin access from plugin. But it's not a reason for cuda errors.
Try to delete somethings from scene and try in LV. You have to find why it gives errors. Not us. It can give errors on out-of-vram or memory.

I had 12 textured models of cars in a grid array cloner. Removing one of the models from the array solved the problem. I was able to put an extra 'row' of cars in the z-axis of cloner to make more cars. I guess the vram was choking on the number of polygons in the models, not the number of clone instances.
