Does anyone have experience with 4x 1080 Gpu's?
Dont really know which Gpu's i should get as the 980ti cards are discontinued.
Can someone advice me whats the best solution at the moment for octane?
Would be amazing if someone could help.

Yes, 4 x 1080s works. I have 3 currently and will be putting another one next week. Hybrid cards work very very well. Very quiet, easy to install, etc. I overclocked mine just today, see screenshot in Octane Bench.
There are other threads on here, so read up on them too. Octane still isn't fully optimized for Pascal cards (hopefully they will get some tweaks).
Current setup:
Intel i7 6850k
Corsair H110i GTX cooler
ASUS X99-E WS/usb 3.1
G.Skill Ripjaw 4x8 gb RAM
3 x EVGA GTX 1080 FTW Hybrid
1 x Samsung 850 EVO 500 gb
2 x WD Caviar Blue 2tb RAID 0
Thermaltake X71 case (many cases can work such as Corsair 750D, Thermaltake X5, X9, etc....).
GPUs are staying between 35-40C right now, though will likely do more testing.
