Hi hrlv,
unfortunately, the internal GPU of your iMac is already working for the system and the monitor, leaving few VRAM to work with OctaneRender. Beside adding an external GPU via Thunderbolt as explaned in this discussion:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=43439&start=170#p276341
the only solution is to try to keep your geometry as low as possible and active the Out of core option for moving all the texture in system RAM instead of VRAM:

ciao beppe

That's very strange, this Topic also appear in the Help/tutorial section of the Maya Forum. viewforum.php?f=126
It seems there's a bug in the Octane forum section management...

Thanks Calus! There should be an issue about management. I suppose this is not a BUG or TUTORIAL post. So i'll delete this topic soon.
