Live DB Materials do not load properly!

The names are missing, there are no groupings and they are not displayed under "My Presets".
Also, if I clear the cache and re-update Live DB does not work.
Sometimes helps when I delete "OctaneRender_settings.oczdb" in the "OctaneRender / Data" folder.
But almost always when I start DazStudio Live DB does not work.

The error was for all versions V2, V3 Stable and R4.4.4.28.

And another problem: When I create a Camara and then switch from Perspective View to Camara1, I have in the viewport only a tiny few pixels large picture. It does not help either when I unlock or change the resolution, sometimes works when I finally press final render and break off again. Then I sometimes have a picture.
I can not change the Camara again otherwise I have the error again.
This does not make any fun anyhow if basic things do not work!
(That the program crashes very often if you edit the textures I do not want to deepen further)

I once had that. Check the Map cache path under the Octane->Preferences tab is correct. Mine got corrected after I fixed that and did a Clear Cache followed Update Now!.

If your path is correct then I suggest you take note of the paths under the "Path Settings". Then uninstall Octane Plugin. Delete or rename all the octane paths you noted down. Also use regedit.exe and go to the registry and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\DAZ\Studio4\OctaneRender key on the left hand side panel and right click and select Rename to rename it to something other than OctaneRender e.g. Old_OctaneRender . Then re-install the Octane Plugin again.

Hopefully that will solve your problem.

You could try deleting OctaneRender_livedb2.oczdb from the OctaneRender\Data folder and then re-download the livedb (or reinstall the plugin).

I could not reproduce this problem. Can you pls add a cube, add a new camera (which gives the above error), save the scene to a .duf, and then send me that scene.

I have fixed a crash related to this in the next version (will be 3.4.5.29) - which will be released this weekend.

I have now deleted everything also the registry entries and reinstalled . Now seems the error fixed (until now).

Paul I'll send you the duf. with the error. I avoid the problem by simply starting DS with my settings and a working Camara and then the Camara does not change.
