Guys,

I'd like to share some TRUE test results on 1060 6GB cards - MANY THANKS TO GODSTRIKE:

1. We've used all the time exactly the same scene with exactly same parameters in PT kernel
2. Measurements were done in non OC and OC
3. 780 6GB was taken as a comparison.

RESULTS:

780 6GB 993mhz/3005mhz (core/mem) 4:40 min
780 6GB 1228mhz/3505mhz (core/mem) 3:56 min

1060 6GB 1886mhz/3802mhz (core/mem) 4:25 min
1060 6GB 1962mhz/4050mhz (core/mem) 4:09 min

So 1060 is very close to 780 6GB and it has 6GB - but what is truly amazing 1060 draws 70W!

PS. 7x1080 on water (2050/5500): 15 seconds :ugeek:

Sorry guys, my home machine was 3.03 which gave a 2:00 result.

Using latest build 3.04 I get 3:05 -- a significant drop in speed.

So how does a 1060 compare to a1070 and a 1080 in the same test?

Trying to decide.
