reload scene only visible

hello guys,

i'ts possible to reload only my visible elements in the live viewer ? because octane is loading everything in my scene each time i reload the render, and sometimes i just want to check one or two elements. It's very long each time because my scene is huge.

SO ?

It doesn't reload any objects which are hidden. How could you get this idea? Have you tried without any materials?

yes i know,

I don't see hidden objects but after all the reload is very long, if i want to work just on one object i have to copy and paste it in a other scene, because it's much more faster than in my main scene.
do you understand what i mean ?

It's working as you wish actually. I suppose you're in partial case and it's not about geometries. Have ever tested on different objects and scenes. I believe its about materials not geometry. Btw why do you reload? What it mean? Resend scene every times?

yes i resend my scene when i stop rendering because i want to move object and add new change material...etc and it very slow so i stop and i resend.
But actually your right it's the textures loading is very long.
why octane reload every textures in my scene instead of i have just one object visible in my scene and i want just work on it for a moment ?

You don't need to stop render for moving objects or changing materials. Don't you work with Live Viewer? Its all purpose to provide fully interactive workflow. So i never resend scene after LV rendering started while working on scene. Only when a error occured on cuda or so.

But if you say that you're rendering is stressing the C4D to avoind making changes that only should happen with geometry editing. For example i'm using two gpus. Monitor gpu is set to low priority. Sometimes i'm completely disabling this gpu and leave one gpu dedicated to rendering. So you can smoothly edit objects. Alternatively you can pause your render and unpause after your work.

Another alternative is to use solo mode. Take a look for that.

Answer to your last question: It's required for stability of plugin. It's designed to have all material and nodes are ready for interactivity. It has very complicated design to able for giving this interactivity. So don't mixed up that with normal renderers. Doing an optimisation like you said that only gives more problems to me in background.
