Hi guys, Any tips how to work cross platform. I am a C4D user and two other co-workers prefer Maya, can we export OBJs somehow that we can share a scene with the same shaders? If so how?
Thanks

Hi DOS76,
if you have both plugins (maya and c4d), you can use the Standalone as collector of different parts that are exported in .orbx from both plugins with al the settings and materials already in place.
Or you can export in alembic from Maya the animated geometry, in obj the static geometry and save the shaders in the Local DB and recreate the scene in c4dOctane, or the opposite, exporting from c4d and recreate in Maya.
In my opinion, Standalone offers the best workflow in this particular scenario.
