hello bonjour,
I'm trying to create a vintage toy figure plastic, like in the pics below.
Some glowsiness, simple very bright color... But I can't find the right look.

Hi mips,
interesting task, you would try to add displacement to give imperfections and smoothness to geometry, and then use an sss material for plastic

Thank you for your reply.
Ok, I will try displacement.
About SSS I'm afraid about the render time.
It will be a big scene with many toys...

Sorry if you already knew this but... Besides just shaders, also try using a high millimeter lens to give a better size reference. Using a shallow depth of field in this would be perfect, since these toys are very small. Try a 55-100mm lens. Be sure to turn off "Auto Focus" in your octane camera tag. Then use a low aperture value. In the live viewer click the focusing tool and click where you want he focus to be. Also if the bokeh seems too grainy try raising the "Aperture Edge", sometimes requires less samples.
