The position of clones scattered in an octane scatter object on an animated mesh, jump and jitter every frame, like the seed value is being re-calculated per frame. This doesn't happen with C4D's native cloner object.

Well! Bug is something like that doesn't work as promised. Scatter is a distributer by amount of face area. You can use cloner if it works fine.

I didn't realise this was a limitation of octane... c4d cloner works fine, but now when you're scattering 15000 objects.

As i said this is about alghoritm and not intended to be used for this kinda animated surfaces. It's a free addon and please don't say that's a bug. It would be a bug if that's not working as promised.RandomUser wrote:I wish this bug could be fixed...
