Export scene doesnt work

All bug reports should include the information below, along with a detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce it.
A. Operating System, including version (i.e. Win 7, OSX 10.11.2, Ubuntu 14.04, etc.)
B. Graphics Card(s) model (i.e. GTX 580 - 3GB, TITAN, etc.)
C. RAM Capacity (i.e. 6 GB)
D. Nvidia driver version (i.e. 7.50, 7.5.22)
E. OctaneRender Standalone version, if installed (i.e. 2.24.2, 2.23, etc.)
F. OctaneRender plugin version (i.e. v2.25 - 2.21)
G. Host application version, including build number if available (i.e. 3ds Max 2016 Build 18.0)

Exporting my scene doesn't seem to work in V3.
Nothing happens with either Alembic or ORBX selected when I hit render.
Intel quad core i5 @ 4.0 ghz | 8 gigs of Ram | Geforce GTX 470 - 1.25 gigs of Ram

Can you provide more detail on the procedures you are performing. You need to hit the animation button not the render button - even if you just want to export one frame.

Also note that the current v3 beta (3.03.4 10.6) has a bug in whic trying to render an older v2 scene crashes Blender. This also occurs when attempting to export to Alembic or ORBX from a older v2 file. More info from post here:

Ok, I think it was because I set some meshes to scatter. I tried a fresh scene and it worked fine. When I set some mesh types to scatter, it crashed Blender.

Will it use instance data in the orbx, or does all of that get lost?


EDIT:
I think it only crashed cause the ORBX file was open in an Octane scene at the time. I don't know why it wasnt exporting before but it seems to be working now.

I can't export orbx and alembic from 2.0 to 3.0 , and I found must be the hair , all geometrys are work really good , but only the hair , I think for now the exporter can't export too complex hair,such as you edited ....still wait the exporter....hope developer can fix it
