Hi there,
when compositing video footage it were nice to add some ambient occlusion to the scene in addtion to shadows, especially to have some contact shadows when an object stands on a surface. Is there any way to do this with path tracing without using direct lighting?
Thanks
Thies

Hi Thies,
it is not possible directly, but you can render in PT or PMC with an AO info render pass and compose it later in post:
