Hello all,

Here is what I'm looking to do - I would like to render both a left stream and right stream out of Octane for C4D by hitting render once. I would like to render through the Octane Renderer save tab as I will need to render passes. Is there a known way to do this?

Things I've tried:

1) Going through Octane Camera Tag stereo settings - Can only render one eye at a time or together as one giant image. This will not work.

2) Using C4D "stereoscopic" render setting - This actually does render both a stream left and stream right, however octane doesn't know its rendering two different images and overwrites the left eye once it does the right eye.

Any help would be appreciated! It'd be nice to have to manually setup 2 cameras and render both every time.

Hi DS_mike,
you can specify the stereo format in the proper tab of the Camera Tag in the "Stereo output" pop-up menu:

You can choose Side-by-side or Over-under and you have to correct the render aspect ratio accordingly.
