Corona has nice feature called LightMixer, could we also have this in octane? :D :)

I think that Light Mixer is one of the most useful improvement Otoy should develop asap!

+1 this looks epic, but would be even better if you could push the sample rate of each light type in realtime

Hi all,

This will need to be looked into. It appears to be a relatively simple UI implementation. I will see where this can fit into ongoing developments - if it turns out to be fairly simple, then the feature will be pushed out as soon as possible. Thank you for bringing this idea to our attention!

One of the goals with the Octane module system, and specifically OctaneImager modules, is to ad extensions for post and composition features on top of the core engine, by us and 3rd party devs. This means we can support custom LUT, toon shading, new tone mapping types, multi-light tools, denoising (Altus, Neat video). etc.

if it is easy to do, does it makes sense to us to wait a year until the 3.1 will be released ? is not it easier to add this function to the current 3.0
