I upgraded the standalone and plugin to the latest, and now Octane hangs when you open IPR. I followed the installation instructions for version 3.
Installed and removed plugin 3 times. and still getting the same result. I am using lightwave 2015.3 . I upgraded the graphics driver to 372.70.
Here are my system specs.
Operating System: Windows 10 Home, 64-bit
DirectX version: 12.0
GPU processor: GeForce GTX 680
GPU processor: GeForce GTX 980 Ti
Driver version: 372.70
NVCUDA.DLL 6.14.13.7270 NVIDIA CUDA 8.0.0 driver
CPU: i7-6700k @ 4.00GHz
32 GIG Ram
Everything worked great before the upgrade. :(

Can you please attach the log file that you get after the IPR freeze? This can help to know the freeze point. You can enable the log file in the plugin options panel:
https://docs.otoy.com/manuals/products/ ... g-options/

Do you have the same problem while rendering with F9/F10?

Thanks,

Through some trial and error, I found that the problem I was having is not an Octane issue. The real issue was trying to run lightwave and Octane on a multiple monitor system. _The plugin works just fine as long as I run lightwave and Octane on the primary monitor. Lightwave saves where all the different windows are when you exit the program. I had exited lightwave when octane IPR was on a monitor other than the primary monitor. IPR would freeze on that monitor every time I activated it. Once I got IPR back on the primary monitor, everything worked great.
Thanks for your help Juango. :D

I am locked now too (4 monitors). If we lock up when starting IPR, then how did you change where the window opens?
