Hello all,
what would be a good start for a nice white porcelain material in Octane for C4D ?

Thank you

Well thank you for your reply.
I'm afraid it's a little more complicated

Well, you could post a reference image to not have to guess. A glossy material was my first thought too.

I just read that it's transcluent so in theory it should be an SSS material. But as long as I'm looking at reference photographs I can't find this transcluency...
IOR is suggested to be set at 1.504

Unsergio, you are 100 % right. I sometimes forget that people are not in my head ;)

This is really what I'm looking for.
So, it's glossy (with white reflective things in the scene) , a paintinf effect on the colored parts

I guess it's a mix of glossy and specular with some sss. I did an example just for fun. I put another mix on the glossy with a falloff for more color variation.
