Hi,
it would be nice to be able to drag and drop custom octane shaders ("octane Network" nodes) onto objects in the 3d view, as we can already do with octane hda shaders ( i.e octane_diffuse , octane_glossy).

Yes, this is a known limitation that I'm not sure how to fix, because it seems a Houdini issue. I know that other external renderers have the same problem with their vopnet nodes and drag and drop feature. Anyway I'll investigate this issue again to see if there is a solution.
