Hi Guys
I first time ever using octane today (got it this morning) and need bit of help, you know in the way in modo, you build out your scene, then in the shader tree you put in your render passes (surface ID output, illumination (direct), final color output, etc) and when you render that out you can save as layered images, so you can have all the say images under the one psd, so when I set up everything in the octane modo plugin I have no idea where can save and render out the passes in octane just like above. I know over looking something hear and I properly guess that I not much of a 3d guy, just basic level for concept and illustration

Below made out a image, on top the render passes for modo and form the bottom is the octane image, for the octane image, just let it settle in the view port and print screen it, because that I dont how to save out multi layers in octane yet (i did look around on vids but i am over looking something hear). I under deadline so what I done for the time being is just scale it up over the modo renders because it real good info on it but that way to much time and ruff

Kind Regards
Eoin

Hi Eoin. Select the render passes you want Octane to render via https://docs.otoy.com/manuals/products/ ... -features/ and then render your scene and then save to Multi-pass EXR via the Octane Save button.
