It's for me the MOST IMPORTANT TOOL ...
Now, I just don't get it ?? HOW TO USE IT, How to stop it ? is it possible to use it with batch rendering ? why there is nothing about in manual ? Any exemple ?

The render region in v2 is great and intuitive this feature was awaited for years!!! so ... why destroying a so useffull tool , with contreintuitive paramter in film settings?
in add the region now is not locked to resolution .... WTF does it mean ?

Thanks abstrax, i've read twice, but so much different, region rendering never stop ...
also why adding a specific film buffer size in wich we have to put value when iu just want to render what i've selected.
( is there a way to simply put the selection coordinates into the film buffer ? )
also how to keep the the region consistent when i render twice the size, like in the v2 ?

ok, i understand better : sorry to became a little impassioned
this new region render if far less intuitive.

1 -> a lock render region according to resolution size would help ...
2 -> a copy selection coordinates to region film buffer would help also ( instead of typing number that match what we want to render when it's so easy to select ) ...

Thanks.

I will see what I can do. Until then, please use the slider functionality of numeric fields: You can click with the right mouse button and then drag left or right to decrease or increase the values. Holding the SHIFT key will increase the step size to 10 and holding the CTRL key will increase the step size to 100. It's not as easy as drawing a rectangle, but not as annoying as having to enter numbers.
