* I have been in the habit of calling them AIOs for years now, but I believe more folks call them CLCs (closed-loop-coolers). Sorry for any confusion.
Okay, so these bad boys (modded, meaning The Mod, from overclock.net) have been sitting on my shelf since I got my 980Ti(s)... we are getting ready to move, I was just about to pack them, and figured what the hell, why not toss these up on the Octane forums and see if someone wants them, and maybe I would be helping out the less fortunate... a starving artist, a student or something...
Image down below. Sorry about the quality of my snapshot. And that is not dust on these, just noise from a combo of poor lighting and my iPhone. Everything is clean and in great shape.
This is a hell of a deal, for all you get. This complete package comes assembled/mounted and ready to install and start rendering, but it would be advised to have decent PC building chops to take this on.
Included:
TWO modified EVGA GTX 580 3GB GPUs (naked, but not afraid) -- Two 580s are roughly as powerful as a 980Ti and score 127 on OctaneBench. And of course the 3GB versions are pretty effin’ wonderful, and harder to come by.
Asetek 760GC AIO Cooler (Asetek is an OEM manufacturer that supplies AIOs to folks like Corsair, EVGA (900-series hybrids), NZXT, Arctic, Intel, Thermaltake, etc) -- A CPU/GPU combo all-in-one cooler, with double-thick radiator, that, as it turns out, works great on two GPUs. These can be used in a two-adjacent-slot scenario, so long as the bottom 580 uses the CPU pump (hoses are vertical on CPU cooler) and it is in the lowest slot (you plan to occupy) on mobo (slots 3 and 4 for instance) and you are still able to mount rad somewhere and have the hoses reach. When I had these in with my 780Ti, I believe I had them in slot 2 (CPU cooler on upper 580) and slot 4 (GPU cooler on lower 580), and the 780Ti in slot 1, and they still reached my H630 case's rear fan placement. This AIO has since been discontinued by Asetek, but has been a solid, reliable GPU cooling system for me. This was always more about quieting my workstation first, and lowering temps second, and I usually kept these 580s on low or medium priority in Octane, because my work does not require long, demanding, punishing render sessions, and I tried to always keep them well under 60°, just to be safe. They have never, ever, been overclocked by me. I think this 760GC is roughly 3 years old now, which may be a little long-in-the-tooth, but if a pump fails (maybe not for years yet), this could be replaced with two AIO coolers or put into a loop with those little GPU waterblocks and the 580s will be groovy again. Edit: A 2nd 760GC comes with this deal, at no additional cost!

DWood GPU Pump Mounting Brackets on both GPUs (made of metal and use nuts/bolts) -- Custom made by DWood (a dude on Overclock) which are better than zip ties (The Mod on overclock.net is based on zippies). Those pumps are not budging, until the nuts are loosened.
Two Corsair SP120 (static pressure) Quiet Edition fans mounted push/pull on 760GC rad. ($26 for a pair on amzn)
Arctic DCACO-VR00400-GB VR004 VGA Heatsink Kits mounted on each GPU with thermal adhesive, which I believe is permanent. It is essential that the GPUs have a minimum of a single 120mm fan blowing across the VRM/VRAM heatsinks (if in adjacent slots), but a nice 200mm or two 120mm fans would be even better, for blowing air across these, preferably from the side or at back of cards. VRMs and VRAM heatsinks must be kept cool at all times, and the only way to do that is good, constant airflow over these heatsinks.
GPUs/Coolers have Antec Formula 7 Nano Diamond thermal compound applied.
I will include the shrouds, though they are likely useless because I am pretty sure the thermal adhesive on the VRM/VRAM heatsinks is permanent. Maybe I am wrong, and it is indeed possible to remove the heatsinks. I wouldn't try it. I would like to not have to ship these, since shrouds are sorta heavy, and I am shipping free.
These have been cared for, dust blown off regularly etc, and should bring a lot of rendering power (very quietly and much cooler than air) for anyone on a budget. And take a look to the left at how long I have been here on Octane. I am not some fly-by-night, dodgy character, in some back alley. I stand behind this sale. I even have another 760GC that I was going to keep (for the time being - maybe I will sell down the road), should something happen to this one in the near future.
Please PM me and I will get back to you ASAP. We are in the process of moving, and hopefully I can get back to you quick... if not, you know why. First one with US$180 (again, Paypal and continental US only) gets these.
Edit: Move complete... ready to ship these.
Edit: Now including 2nd 760GC at no additional cost!!!.
Edit: Now asking $180
