Learning octane and modeling in C4D.
This is the first thing I've modeled from scratch and then rendered. Only my first couple weeks modeling, so I'll add some more details as I learn more :).

I modeled it after one of these https://www.amazon.com/Contigo-Autoseal ... B0036UMHDE sitting on my desk.

I made all the materials except for the wood desk, it came from the Live DB.

Not too bad. I would tone down the bump on the brushed metal alot. All depth scratches that created the anisotropic look should only be able to be seen if you are zoomed in extremely close. Is the anisotropic effect only created with bump or are you using roughness/specular as well?
