If your just using a still and want to view it you can always use kolor eyes http://www.kolor.com/kolor-eyes/
If you want it on facebook I think it have to be a video so just make your still like 20 seconds long

cool gonna check it.. also just realised I could probably use sketchfab and project the image onto a cube and project from inside .. maybe they should add that option as well

actually it's not needed to make any video (that's old & not so efficient technique =)
if Your image is not recognised & automatically turned as 360 degree photo, You need to adjust exif data..Important thing is to let fb know it's wide angle shot, or simply trick that it was shoot with some device that can capture this type of data. That's it!

yeah but I couldn't really find much info on exactly that really .. so if someone found something that does work directly please share..
