I made the grass using the instance Generator.
LW Default Render was used to render the slick grass on the mountain of 20 million. I was originally trying to create more of a test.
It was possible to render properly.
With the Octane Render it was the same, but failed to render.
With the Instance Generator Do you know about the problems that make the 20 million?

Instance Generator 17M Copy?

Probably you can't have more than 16M instances in the same object. I don't know if this value is global scene limitation or per object.
Perhaps you could try to break the instancer in two or more objects with less than 16M instance each one to see what happens.

Well to plant the trees and grass in the mountains of a vast area one should be in any way?
I thought that would make it possible in the default rendering of course possible in octane.
