I noticed this during the alpha of V3, scenes that I rendered in v2, rendered very noisy in v3. I stopped using it and waited to see if it would get "fixed" later. Well, now that I have upgraded and am using it again, I am having the same problem....again. What exactly changed? Settings and stuff seem to be the same as they were in v2. My materials aren't different. I notice most of the noise is on the skin of whatever character is in the scene. I am using the tony sculptor R20 material. I think I also saw another memeber here mention they started getting noisy renders of scenes in v3 that were not noisy in v2 as well. Anyone else have this problem?

Well lowering the GI clamp helps...I always had the caustic blur all the way up. I never turn the hot pixels off because it makes the image all blurry. How much quality do I lose by lowering the GI Clamp?

That depends on what our exposure setting is and what you set GI Clamp to. Use the settings recommended in the link in my signature and you shouldn't loose any quality.

Alright thank you. I still find it strange how this only happens in the v3 plugin though.
