Does anyone have the secret sauce to recombining the separate diff, reflection, refraction, AO, and associated other passes, into an exact copy of the original beauty pass? We've had various compositors in Nuke, Flame & AE claiming that Octane simple doesn't export the correct passes to be able to do this.
I'm really hoping this isn't the case , but as generally a 3D guy, I'm not enough of a Nuke pilot to be able to counter these claims.

Anyone have a recipe for EXR recombination? (hmm, that sounds like something you'd do to a replicant)

I'm working with the Lightwave plugin, but i don't think it matters, as LW exports everything the standalone does.

Cheers!

Well you should be able to combine them (at least the beauty passes). How they should be combined is described here in the manual. Make sure you are working in linear color space. We also have some nice video tutorials.
