Activation Problem

Hi,
after using Octane on a different machine (that I can not access now) I can not run it at home even if it says DEACTIVATED in my licenses (online). That is really strange.
When I start Rhino it says "OctaneLive ID and Password not found. You will need to activate the Octane plugin."
But there is no screen as usual popping up to put in my User name and pass. So Rhino opens up normally and I can not click on Activate or Deactivate or any other fields in the Octane Activation tab. When I switch to another tab it simply says "You must be activate the plugin in order to open the viewport".
BUT NO PLACE TO ACTIVATE !!!
I need to finish renderings for a presentation tonight, so any useful answers within the next mins / hours are highly appreciatet !

I got the same thing, I had to reinstall the V2 plug in octane for rhino to be able to deactive...after that I just reinstall the last version V3 020 of the plug in. hope it would help, I was exactly in the same situation few days ago.

Hi nohyim,
I wanted to say "You made my day" but in this case "You made my night" feels more appropriate.
Cool. It worked. I tried to reinstall V3 before without solving this. But the V2.5 reinstall and reactivation hack did its job.
Hope Paul is aware of this bug.
Machines up and running again now.

Unfortunately, this didn't work for me. I can't access the OctaneLive User Id or password. It won't allow me to type in anything and I don't get the new login screen that Paul mentioned on another thread concerning activation.

Had to go back to 2.25 to get it to work!

Hopefully he has a fix for this soon.

So to be clear you have reinstalled the 2.25 plugin, then activated 2.25 and after reinstalling 3.0 it didn't work?
In my case I didn't have to type in the credentials of 3.0 because the new plugin was using the credentials of the old 2.25 plugin where it was possible to type it in.

The next release of Octane/the plugin will hopefully fix these authentication issues. It should be available shortly.
