 Why do people put HD drive space in their signature specs?
It's like you can upgrade or mod drive space so easily these days, be it external or internal....like why even bother...And it's not an Otoy forum thing alone, it happens on every website forum.
Like, "256 GB 7800 rpm HD".....OOOOOHHHHHHH....THAT'S SOOOOOOO AMAZING....DAAAAAMNNNNNNNN...
Next you'll see people listing Cloud storage too....
"500 GB DropBox....Oh Yeah......."

 Why can't every plugin just use a map like the standalone to set the lighting?
Why is this so forbidden...Is it going to offend the underlying application if you don't use its ineffective X-Y-Z numeric input system and instead use a friendly speedy graphic UI? Why do we need to work 10 minutes when it could take 3 seconds. And don't say export to standalone...I don't want to...put the stupid map in there!
(Excuse Daz plugin from this rant, it has a map...)

 How come every time there's some update to the main standalone or a plugin, people will praise the developer saying "Thanks for the release!..."...And then 1 day later they're complaining about everything that's wrong with it.
Why bother saying thank you then.
Just say what you really mean right from the start:
"I see you have a new release, prepare to get F*&^ed"

 Why do art apps always sternly recommend that you are using the latest NVidia drivers?
It's like when you update, it doesn't do ANYTHING noticeable or meaningful in Octane or the art app you are using.
Faster speed? NOPE
More stable support? NOPE
All it did was add support for 2 games or something like that....Like I really needed that smoke effect in Tomb Raider 18 for my renders.

 How come they still call a networked PC a "slave"?
Where's the freedom movement for these networked PC's!...Isn't it time we move past that and allow them their rights?
And if we want to keep calling it a slave, can anyone assist me in figuring out after a rendering session how I can get it to do my dishes...

 My Octane rant is that our pal Notiusweb, who (self-admittedly) is in his early-ish stages of learning 3D, needs to spend less time in these forums, and get his ass back in the Octane Kitchen, and cook up some hot/tasty shit, and keep his f*ckin' nose to the grindstone! ;)

Edit: More rants please!
