I recently attempted to use the most current beta version of the C4D v3 plugin, v3 b2.1. After replacing plugin contents, deleting otoy credential files, deactivating plugin through the online license manager, updating my system's display drivers (365.19), and even reverting to previous versions of the v3 alpha, I continue to experience the same issue of "Plugin account currently activated on another machine" followed by c4d crashing or locking up. I am running windows 10 pro. I am afraid something with the new authentication process has locked out my license.

Does the new system still require a 60 minuet wait time between deactivating/activating?

Is there something I'm missing?

Hi Craig,
could you retry by deleting the octane credentials one more time, go to the personal area and deactivate both standalone and plugin. Then could you try to activate the Standalone first and then the plugin, thanks.

After following these steps I have gotten both the standalone and plugin version of the v3 beta to work. In hindsight, I believe my issue was that I was mistakenly deactivating the standalone license instead of the plugin license... my bad. Yet, this was helpful in remedying my problem, thank you!

cheers,

Hi guys,
Lucio's issue is solved ;)
please, start v3.00 Standalone, go to Preferences/Account and I sign-out from there:

In this way you should be able to deactivate your v3 license and activate the beta version.
