Hi,
As part of our documentation overhaul, there will be a wealth of updates across the board, as well as a more streamlined system for easier updating. A primer on MAXScript documentation will be provided, with improvements and additions subject to user feedback.
Is there anything specific that you would like to know regarding MAXScript for Octane?

No problem. For what it's worth, MAXScript for Octane works essentially the same as normal. Anything you can do script-wise with a material can be done on an Octane material (i.e. diffuse_material, mix_material, etc).
Things can get a little complicated with maps. A general primer would indeed be a great resource for users to get the most out of MAXScript integration. Completion on the Documentation overhaul is expected to align with the release of Octane 3, so you can expect to see what you are looking for next month.
