Could I export all 3d views to stanldalone?
( I want to use batch render in standalone)
Thanks.
How to export revit to standalone?

You could either render a walkthru which contains a render at the camera position at each frame (this would probably be hard to setup), or you could Export the scene to ORBX or OCS, load the scene into Standalone and then use the Revit plugin Copy Camera to Clipboard function and paste into Standalone for each View in the Revit scene. Would that work for you?

Hi, open the Octane Viewport, then rightclick the Settings tree and select the Export Scene to OCS/ORBX menu item.

I don't understand the specific issue you are referring to here. The plugin requires a 3d view in order to open the Viewport, where you can there export to an OCS/ORBX. Non-perspective views are not supported, as it is not possible to convert the Revit View to an Octane Camera Orthographic camera in this case.I've noticed that it does not seem to allow export of axonometric views.

This is mostly a power user thing. I like to do accuratly illuminated floor plans, like this:

https://ourhouseisourworld.wordpress.co ... re-panels/
There's a "hack" in Revit where if you make a section and place a non-perspective camera pointing right down in Revit, it will create this kind of floor plan. Really, it's just an axonometric camera that is culling through the structure, but still letting the light through normally (this is the light I want to analyze).

I was just hoping to bring in these types of plan views into Octane to render light in plan form. Perhaps it is still possible, I could try to do the same camera trick but only to remove the perspective in Octane. I'll update if I find the time to try it out.

For these camera views, click the Orthographic pin on the Octane Thinlens camera. You can position the camera via the viewport by clicking Viewport Navigation, although I doubt you will get the "exact down" angle you are looking for. If you have exported to Octane Standalone, set the camera position to 0, 500, 0 and the camera target to 0, 0, 0, and the camera will them point directly down.
