I worked together with PWR Racing Team to present the new race car for the 2016 STCC season.
I got CAD data of the car from Seat design and did some retopo work in modo to clean it up and finish some parts of the model that weren't done by the time they had to send me the files.
Lit with HDR Light Studio and rendered with Octane in Path Tracing mode for the stills and Direct Lighting for the video.

The CAD-model is all NURBS so it depends on the conversion to polys. Since the CAD was a bit rough and unfinished when I got it I remodeled many parts of the cars as subdivisional surfaces. The final model is about 12 million triangles. I used Modo's edge weights and those require a SubD level of 3-5 to look good.
