After being tipped off to this software many months ago by Roubal, I finally picked it up and gave it a try. Here is my first render. Unfortunately rendered with the demo, I have purchased, but I still can't get my activation info. Really irritating because I absolutely love this software. I cannot wait to tell the world how good it is.

Here's a close up. Just simple direct lighting = near perfection.

Thank you Radiance, you are truly heaven sent to shed light on the world.

I think octane has a very large gun pointed at the head of the cg community. Listening to Brad Peebler talk about octane, he is very scared of it IMO.

@ roubal, Thanks man! She is going to be featured in some training videos I am producing for a client. I am developing 5 characters that are going to be used in a variety of situations. As you know I really want to work on a short film, but it is too labor intensive without funding. So I have taken some contract work to improve my animation skillset.

@ mlody, You are right on! Her character is a reporter.....I'm surprised you picked that up, good eyes!
