Sorry for the dumb question, but does this mean (once 3.1 is out), that we'll be able to render on a Mac Pro or Macbook Pro?

I'm thinking, open Maya (or other 3D app) on a Mac, hit Octane render and voila. Is this correct?

Yeah awesome!
Would ATI stream processors deliver the exact same performance as cuda cores to guage card performance, or are there other significant factors?

You say you have created your Cuda libraries compatible with all gpus?
How is it possible?
What about Amd and Intel processors?

edit: I read the article....impressive...
What Nvidia says?....:)

Instead of maintaining several chains like OpenCL and Cuda you invested some RnD time to create a Compiler to save time on the Long run.
That is smart.
Congratulations!

Honestly when I read about that it might be available this summer I guess it will be ready around Christmas, as usual ;)
