Hi all, I have used the Set Camra Focus to Object selection in the past, pretty much 100% of the time. For some reason lately that is not working so well renders look blurred. I am using 3.0.3.9 NVIDA 353.3
I had to use the Follow object option the past few days. I am not sure if perhaps i messed something up or something has changed. One thing I notice is that the Aperture in the plug in seems a bi toff compared to Standalone, the default is 16.xx bu tin SA it default is 1, is this normal?
Anyway, now no matter the aperture I set the view pane selection causes the render to be very blurry... anyone know why this would happen? I tired a new daz file and diff cameras etc..

Can you pls replicate this problem using a cube to render, and another cube to use as the focus point and send it to me and I'll take a look.
Thanks

An Aperture of 16 would be very wrong...
The Aperture essentially controls if there is depth of field visible in the image or not.
The fStop controls how broad the depth of field "size" is.
Are you sure it was the Aperture that read 16 and not the fStop? Since an fStop 16 would give you very little depth of field, if any at all.

unless im reading it wrong, when i select the Cam in the DAZ Scene and then look at the Camra setting / Octane in DSAZ the default has Arpt. at 16 default?
So when i create a new Camera in DAZ I select it in DAZ then manipulate these settings in DAZ - this is the correct workflow - right? Octane plug in then takes those settings form DAZ is my understanding? Every new Cam I make in DAZ has a default Aperture at 16. Is this messed up? I kno wit way too high compared to the standalone, this was my initial question as something seems off - in SA default is at 1 on Cams.

The default of 16.25 is correct - since the DAZStudio aperture is in different units to Octane's. Pls see https://docs.otoy.com/DazStudio/?page_id=1247 for details.
