I'm still quite new here to Octane and I wanted to find out the best way to go about troubleshooting crashes?
Most recently I've been moving around my scenes and I just hang and get the pinwheel of death. I've attached the crash report but are there things I should be looking out for of why this Might be happening?
Cinema 4D by it's sell has always been very stable, but crashes have gone up tenfold since using Octane, I've definitely shortened the time of auto-backups to at least safe guard myself, but I would like to be able to try and figure out where I'm going wrong.
Thanks for any help!

I can't see anythings about Octane in this file. I suppose 2.25-R3 is very stable for plugin part in Windows. I don't use much in OSX and don't get any crash reports from mac guys.
If you send me more details about your scenes to give me better ideas i can take a look. Any spesific scenes and bugreport.zip, etc.. would be appreciated.
Please explain better how, where, when get this crashes or whatever.

Attached is the the crash report, scene file & video of the crash. It seems similar to the crash that's happening in the other form post "Network Rendering"

I did some troubleshooting.
I only seem to crash when I'm connected to the networked slaves (either or both). When I'm only using the local GPU with the live viewer and move around the scene I can't seem to force a crash.

I'm not sure it's a crash on plugin. Looks like a netrender issue on renderer. What happens without net? Do you see some errors on net clients?

It seems to only occur when Network Rendering in Live Viewer is enabled. If I render to the Picture Viewer with Network Render It does not hang. I could not force it to hang when I had network render disabled.aoktar wrote:Here. Btw are you seeing same without netrender? This is very simple scene and i never see this kind of problems with local gpus.
no errors seem to appear on the slave
