Hey guys,

I believe I read it in one of the change logs or forum posts about a change that affected the default render settings for Octane. I tried searching but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I recently created a scene in plugin version 2.23.1 and re opened it in version 2.24.2 and it really seems to be clipping. I'm hoping there is one parameter I can tweak to get the same render result in the newer version.

Thanks for the help

Hi,
if I remember well, there shouldn't be any difference between the two versions, except for a brightness effect at first try if you have a c4d shader in the emission node as reported here by brasco:

Thanks for the response. It seems the issue I was having had to do with the "Surface Brightness" option box being enabled on my light tags in the newer version, but wasn't an option in the older one. When I disabled this, my render matched my earlier version.
