Hi guys. I have a question. I have R17 + Octane 3D.
I have bought second card for viewport only - Radeon 270X.
Ofc - rendering on gtx970 - priority high.
I though that after installing second card - my viewport response will be super smooth like when octane is OFF.
But it is still laggy. Not as much when working on one card with high/medium priority - but still it is laggy.
Is it normal? Viewport will never be the same while octane is rendering?
Thanks!
Tom
Octane GPU priority - dedicated viewport card - lag

Which card do you have your monitor(s) plugged into? Your monitor(s) should be plugged into the the AMD card and nothing plugged into the 970. In this case you should just turn off the priority altogether in Octane as you don't need it.

It does on mine, but I have two Nvidia cards. It's looking more like it might be a problem with the card's drivers. I have heard you can mix AMD and Nvidia cards together, but I have also heard that you can have problems with it too. Sorry, not much help.
