Possible to extend/replace the tubes of the card to use it in a quad setup?

Looks like so. I think it does not extend to 3rd slot so 4 gpus might fit.

I think space is not the problem but the tubes are too short (45cm). So you think replacing/extending them is possible?

That would be a pretty decent machine and relatively cheap.

With custom solutions why not. But this would require refilling the loop and this may not be easy without a reservoir. If you let air into the loop it will impact gpu performance. But the idea is interesting.

it might be not as simple as You think, Rob. but doable. However..what is the price You're getting it for? because.. 980Ti dropped in price latelly to something like 700Eu then waterblock is around 100EU for each.. if You would count one 120 rad fro each GPU.. You can lift of with pair of expandable AIO from EK (Predator 240, ~200EU for it) - this would be much more flexible & You would have less headache on the long run..

Tubes on the card You've shown here are short, not so flexible & fixed into place.. - there's no like typical fittigns or QDC (QuickDisconects) ir order to expand loop easily. I'm not sure if I would go thru hasle of doing modification for it..- but as always, everything is possible. I would read some written reviews & maybe watch some also (seen few Guys opened this card). This might help to make decission.

I agree with Tom. The price for 980 ti + waterblock is around 630EUR net (if you have a registered company you pay no VAT). And a custom loop is much more flexible. One 480 radiator is for about 70-80 EUR net... So overall cost of WC 4x 980 ti is 2860 EUR net (2x480, D5+top+res+fans).

Thanks Smicha and Tom.
Yeah, of course, a custom solution is much more efficient.
At first it seemed like an easy, uncomplicated approach...Why these short tubes, I don't get it :?

Most people only buy one of those or have a small case.
If you enlarge the tubes you would also need more/another cooling liquid I guess?

Why not using a large case with common air?
I built a new workstation last month with my "old" 4x Titan setup thrown into an Obsidian 900D Case and a AIO liquid cooling for the CPU. There is plenty of space and excellent cooling / air flow without even touching the fans.
Even if there is some sound, I listen to web radio all the time ;) ;)

Ok, I give up ;)
Would be nice to have a complete retail solution that you just can plug in though...

Keep in mind that this card runs ~20% faster than the standard 980 Ti straight out of the box.
Plus you have plenty of room to overclock because it's running at ~52°C under heavy load.

look for evga hybrid..or MSI something.. (with included corsair solution) - those have sligthy longer lines. However..it still be a bit messy & not so flexible..Think the best rendition of this solution I've seen latelly by one Guy over OctaneRender Facebook group posted..let's see..ou, here it is

& yeah mbetke nailed the reaso nfor short tube =) & sometimes getting on air in well ventilated case is the most simple solution..but =) on the other side.. 4x hybrid cooler equiped GPus would perform as 5 normal, reference cooler units..- so it depends, for what You're looking for.
