The problems we were having with the installers turned out to be because SU2016 changes the way it searches its directories for plugins. I've rebuilt the installers with the folder locations fixed:
Octane Render for SketchUp x64
Octane Render for SketchUp x64 (Demo)
These are built for SU 2016 by default, but you can still use them with SU 2015 by changing the install folder.
Octane Render for SketchUp 2.23.2
This is not working at all. There is no Octane icons nor Octane submenu.
I also had to remove 15.2 and now 15.2 is not working either - I had to use your rar file to remove old version of the plugin.
What is the proper folder for installing the plugin? Please give the full path for SU 2015 and 2016.

OK so I figured out a solution:
1. Uninstall all SU Ocatne plugins
2. Run installer again but important: point manually installation folder (although it is the same already given, i.e.,
C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2016\SketchUp)
3. Open 2016 and go to windows->preferences->extensions and mark Octane plugin (click just once and wait for network settings approval) and restart Octane.

Short question Captain: will you (have you been already) work on the nodal approach that Fuzzy stared? The same we have in the standalone?

A bug: when I open the plugin the viewport is white. I must orbit a scene to get proper viewport activity.
