Hi I am using 3ds max octane

Motion blur is ON
When camera is animated (flying camera over a surface) rendering time is pretty fast. But if i have, lets say, a flying object over a surface and i attach a camera to the object (using link feature) render times are increased by 2-3 times.
Even though at the end I get the same rendered result of blurred surface.
is it a bug or the way octane works
Thanks

Hi,
without a screenshot is like to bet on the right answer, anyway, there are three types of MB, camera, object and vertex motion blur. The first is the more faster and the last is the more complex to calculate. If your flying object has no vertex animation, it's better to switch to object motion blur to save some render time ;)
