Hello,
I am working on a scene with video shooting.
I have a footage of a girl playing a guitar on a platform and I need to create a 3D sculture around her. I have created the sculture on cinema 4D I also put a plane with a texture of the girl in chrome to receive some lights on her for postproduction.
For my render I need 3 ID passes, the pieces of the sculture in front of the girl (ID 1) , the pieces of the sculture behind the girl (ID 2), the girl (ID3) so I can remove her in post.
I also rendering POST pass, to get the bloom power and glare effects apart, and finally, I need to take the shadow pass of the sculture projected on the floor and the platform, ( I am not rendering the floor neither the platform because I have already on the video footage)
this is a skecth of what I need:
My question is: Is there a way to render every pass I need on one render?
The only way to render shadow pass I know is activating render layer. But I can't only choose one ID at time.
The workaround I know is: 1)Render everything but shadow pass. 2) change ID of the sculture into one ID and render again with render layer to take the shadow pass.
I hope there is a way I can manage this in one time render. (This is possible in C4D with the standard render)
Hope everything is clear, I cant upload my project but I upload a draw so you can understand better. Thanks for your help.
