EXR in Photoshop

Hi.

Has anyone managed to open an EXR file with render passes straight into Photoshop? I can't seem to get it to work.
I have tried using the free plugin 'OpenEXR' but still no joy.

I noticed a few mentions of this problem on the forum but can't seem to find any resolution.

I'm using Photoshop CC. 2014.2.2

Ideas?

It is impossible without special plugin like this:

I import into djv_view, which opens the EXR's ok (and obviously Nuke opens them correctly too). Otoy have announced there will be a Photoshop plugin with Octane 3 to handles these files too.

I downloaded the otoy extension / add on but adobe extension manager doesn't allow me to install it, it saiz I need to install the PS version 14. I have the latest PS version. Bug?
