oddities during render pass

when i setting render pass beauty+material ID+ UV (EXR format)
the beauty pass is not complete the sample pixel are less than the set in render setting (so with more noise above)

if i render to 8 bit png without any render pass, the render beauty is complete

is it a bug ?

You need to let the beauty pass finish rendering before saving the EXR. If you are viewing the material ID pass, the render statistics will be for that pass, not the beauty pass.
