How could I go about switching from a indoor setting to an outdoor settings with a octane sky?

Is there away to fade one into another?

You can use mix texture to mix two hdris. But i think that would cause some "importance sampling" problems when you do this.

I would do this in post, render an overlap and crossfade smoothly, that way you're not going to put that stress onto one-hit render and overall it wouldn't be much longer than doing it in-engine.

cheers
