Hi,

I have a wierd issue occuring for a while now. If I make a change to my scene, everything previews fine in the Live Viewer. But as soon as I render a final to Picture Viewer, the scene is different, - usually an older version of the scene. In other words, Octane doesn't seem to register the updates I am making to the scene although ti does register them fine in the live viewer. I'm not completely sure if this is a bug or not. In any case, is there a way to remedy this? I checked the whole forum and all posts with similar problem but none of the provides solutions worked. The main issue is tree density is different in live viewer than it is in picture viewer. For the trees I am using standard mograph Cloners.

Regards

I figured it out. For those of you who happen to stumble upon this, here is the solution. In the project settings I had accidentaly entered 60% Level of Detail for the whole project. This caused the viewport to display lower amount of objects than actually were present. Setting the LoD back to 100% synced the picture viewer and live viewer again. Mistake was mine. It is also worth nothing that lowering the project LoD on a heavy sene will most likely SEVERELY slow the viewport down, rather than improve it.

Cheers
