Hi all,

could anyone shed some light on how exactly Multiscatter plugin works with Octane Standalone?

I can get it to work perfectly in 3DS max octane plugin, but after I export to ORBX file, the MS animation (animated multiscatter scale parameter) will randomly appear or not appear in the render view. Only after I (randomly) fiddle with the scene for a while in standalone it will usually appear.

When it does appear, the animation is there and looks all right, but none of the proxy projects have any materials applied to it (although this works well in 3ds max plugin).

Any ideas? Are there some tricks needed when exporting?

Many thanks!

Never mind, I got it to work: neither MS object or your original mesh for the proxy can have "movable proxy" ticked on. Has to be off:-)
