modelled this baby after the LHC particle accelerator, with my interpretation..
- a few hours start to finish, used a bit of zmodeler in zbrush, much faster to do low poly stuff - PS only for tonemapping..

about 20 min on 3x3k - stuff like this is quick enough, with SSS and closed interiors is where it's slowest
