Hi all!
How would you set up the following scene in 3ds Max/Octane:
I have to extend parts of a maschine, which will be shot in camera. In addition to some machine parts, i also have to add a glass object.
For lighting, i (hopefully) will get an HDRI of the set. But for the refractions through the glass, i somehow have to use the plate, so i can overlay my rendering in comp.
Is there any way to use the environment texture (HDRI) for reflections and lighting, but also see my original backplate through the refractive objects?
